I’m a budding creative who is looking forward to creative opportunities. I’m freelancing too. In recent zoom calls, I saw the employees taking ‘zero precautionary’ measures in offices and they are travelling daily from home to office. Again, are they showing some greatness? We know that job is very important but can’t we think that this is a world pandemic, the superpowers like the USA and UK are struggling with the same?

I have been noticing inappropriate behavior with the safety kits made for our protection against Covid-19. Let me give you a tour of how responsibly we are acting.

1. Wearing a mask for the show-off: A mask is used just for the sake of showoff. People are wearing it under the chin. But, nobody is realizing how unsafe it is. Our mask can absorb sweat under our chin and neck. Later, we inhale sweat.

2. Happily getting in touch with each other depending on masks as a savior: Coronavirus is most dangerous within the community. Community spread can lead our lives to nowhere. The quality of masks is not good too. Tailors are stitching the masks with the leftover clothes. But still, why are we so casual? When we are going to shops we are happily meeting and greeting people. The distance is even less than one foot.

3. Wearing gloves but touches face after touching everything around: People are getting overconfident with masks and gloves. Gloves protect against germs but it is unhealthy if we touch our face with those gloves.

Working from home is not our choice but it is an adjustment made for the job, to keep our employment intact. None of us wants to practice rigid culture of office at home. The employers are taking advantage of this virus. They say that they are affected but still hiring employees with less than 50 % of their deserved salary in hand. Why?

Office timing and work from home timing: Work from home seems to be the toughest. Employees are working for more than 10 hours a day. Employers are still not satisfied with the efforts and performance of their employees. It leads to exhaustion, stress, and demotivation which affects the performance and productivity of the employee.

A candidate wants a safe and healthy environment for himself but not the luxuries and comfort of his home. He/she wants to adjust for you.

Our immunity system might be strong but maybe we are not safe for anyone. Coronavirus can’t easily attack people with strong immunity but can surely bother people with weak immunity.

Who is responsible for this situation? Government or we as people? Look around you and surf the internet, you’ll soon realize how tough it is for the families who are dealing with Coronavirus.
